A fragrance will not smell the same out of the bottle as in a finished product. Always thoroughly test fragrances in your finished product before purchasing in bulk.
To obtain the full effect of cold and hot throw, allow candles to cure (ideally for a minimum of two weeks) and allow all fragrance notes to come alive. You will then get the full olfactory makeup of the fragrance.
Shelf-life for fragrance ranges from 6 months to 1 year.
Citrus fragrances may have a fuel-like smell when burned. We suggest pouring candles with citrus notes at the lowest possible temperature.
Fragrances may discolour bath and body products. To obtain the desired results, the customer will need to undertake thorough stability testing.
Our fragrances are sold by volume and not weight. The different ingredients used in each fragrance oil can change its density and overall weight, meaning the volume and weight may not be the same. Therefore, we recommend weighing your oils when using them to ensure the amount used complies with the CLP regulations.
